Frank Frazetta (February 9, 1928 – May 10, 2010) was an American fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for comic books, paperback book covers, paintings, posters, and LP record album covers. He was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1995 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1999. He is considered to be the father of modern fantasy art.
Frazetta's iconic and electric paintings for Conan books, Creepy and Eerie comic magazines, Molly Hatchett album covers and series of Death Dealer paintings, established him as a living master long before his passing in 2010.
HOWL Gallery is pleased to present a collection of the artists work in partnership with Frazetta Girls, a company created by Frank's daughter, Holly Frazetta, and his granddaughter, Sara Frazetta. The show will feature vintage 1970's prints, new HD prints, and originals from the FrazettaGirls.com collection. Framed and unframed prints will be available for sale from $20 and up.
