HOWL GALLERY PRESENTS: "LACKEY" A SOLO EXHIBITION BY FINE ARTIST AND HOWL TATTOO ARTIST MATT LACKEY

OPENING RECEPTION January 6th DURING FORT MYERS ART WALK

New exhibit at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo features the fine art of painter and tattoo artist Matt Lackey. From robot birds and clipper ships to black magicians and rotting zombies, Matt Lackey's paintings encompass the artist's love for vintage pop culture.... including radio shows, horror movies, comics, animation, and street art. Using acrylic paint and paint markers on wood, Matt's highly detailed and often cryptic art work has become a favorite at HOWL over the last several years, selling dozens of paintings to local residents and visiting art collectors from around the world. Along with the demand for his fine art Matt has been a tattoo artist at HOWL since 2010, illustrating his unique vision on skin permanently for an ever expanding list of fans.

LACKEY: A solo exhibition of the art of Matt Lackey will feature new and existing paintings by the artist. The show runs through January 2012. Opening reception January 6th from 6-10pm at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo during the Fort Myers Art Walk. Free admission with light refreshments provided. Live music on the HOWL back patio.
