ALL FEMALE COMIC ARTIST COLLECTIVE RETURNS TO HOWL GALLERY

BRIDE OF THE SUGAR NINJAS: All female comic book artist collective returns to HOWL. Last year, Howl Gallery hosted the first-ever exhibition showcasing artwork created by contributors to the all-female sequential art anthology, Sugar Ninjas. Coinciding with the release of volume three, this “sequel” show celebrates all-things mysterious and creepy, magical and eerie. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Exhibit is curated by Bob Pendarvis, co-founder of the Savannah College of Art & Designs Sequential Art MFA and BFA programs. Running from October 7th-October 31st, BRIDE OF THE SUGAR NINJAS will put you right in the proper Halloween Spirit. The show includes original work by many professional and emerging comic and animation artists including:

Opening reception will be held Friday, October 7th, in conjunction with the downtown Fort Myers Art Walk, from 6-10pm. Light refreshments provided. Free event, all ages welcome. The exhibit continues through the end of October. ALSO that night: Art Walk 3 Year Anniversary Celebration.
