HOWL Gallery hosts Justin T.C. Chadbourn for a signing of The Prosceniad. Mr. Chadbourn’s book is an epic poem following the hero’s journey as he endeavors to save the world of his childhood. Copies of The Prosceniad will be available for purchase during the event. The free signing event takes place Saturday, January 30^th, 2010, from 1-4pm at HOWL Gallery, located at 1514 Broadway, Suite 101, in the Downtown Fort Myers River District.

Author Bio

Author Justin Chadbourn is a son of New England, born and raised in Northwood, New Hampshire. He had no specific interests in poetry and the classics while growing up, but enjoyed writing, history, science, and knew he wanted to be an artist before he knew there was life after grade school. Thanks to a supportive and adventurous family, he was able to seek out and imagine those old spots in the woods where stone walls appeared from autumn leaves and overgrown paths hid history and character. While attending St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, he spent a semester studying art, literature and theatre in London, before moving to Florida and subsequently beginning his martial arts training. This led to a year-long intensive training as uchideshi, live-in student of martial arts, in Birmingham, Alabama. He currently resides in Fort Myers, Florida, close to his family and friends, frequenting the coffee shops in his search for the next great poem. He worked as a teacher, picture framer and security officer, and conceived his first major work, The Prosceniad, during a dream.
