HOWL Gallery was mentioned in a News-Press article today in the Gulf Coasting arts/entertainment section.  The article focused on 2 new galleries that have recently opened in Downtown Fort Myers,  daas Gallery and    La Casa Del Arte Gallery.  A footnote coming soon article mentions HOWL and gives a brief description of the studio concept.  See below for the excerpt.  We will tentatively be showcased in a feature article in the NewsPress Gulf Coasting section once the Gallery is open.

    Howl Gallery/Tattoo is coming to the Fort Myers River District in the next few months, possibly late October or November, says future owner Andy Howl.

    The place will be 60 percent gallery and 40 percent tattoo parlor.

    A shop will sell tattoos, fine art, prints, art books, graphic novels, comic books and clothing.

    A Savannah College of Art and Design graduate, Howl has always been interested in the mix of street art and fine art. That’s the combination he wants the gallery to have.

    “It’s where pop art, street art, comics and tattoo art come together and meet,” he says.
