2012 Openings Schedule

HOWL Gallery/Tattoo Art opening Schedule for 2012 Season.

Our best year of shows yet! Featuring returning solo shows by artists Derek Hess, Matt Lackey, and Andy Howl. New solo shows with Skot Olsen, Pooch, Pat Collins and Rodney Jackson. Pooch and Skot Olsen will both be available for tattoo appointments opening weekend.

Derek Hess on NPR August 25th

Derek Hess was interviewed LIVE on NPR WGCU on 8/25. Gulf Coast Live Arts Edition.

World famous rock concert poster artist Derek Hess does poster and album art for Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop and Pink Floyd. His art is on permanent display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the Louvre in Paris and now he’s got new fine art works at the Howl Gallery in Fort Myers.

Andy Howl on NPR August 18th

Tattoo Artist and HOWL Co-Owner Andy Howl will be interviewed LIVE on NPR for Southwest Florida August 18th.

Andy talks about tattoos, his tattoo art inspired show at Howl Gallery on display during August and the history of tattoo art in global culture. The show will repeat on Sunday 8/21 at Noon.

Solo Exhibition by Matt Lackey

HOWL Gallery presents the art of painter and tattoo artist Matt Lackey. Matt's colorful and layered imagery is inspired by street art, comics, tattoos and his love of vintage pop culture.

Opening reception will be held Friday, January 6th , in conjunction with the Fort Myers Art Walk, from 6-10pm.
