HOWL Gallery/Tattoo will feature the annual Dia de los Muertos Group Art Show November 2nd on Day of the Dead. The show features artists work in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos, from traditional style imagery to tattoo art, lowbrow paintings, and spray painted street art. Over 2 dozen artists will be selected to participate in the show based on entries received via email.
The show opens on November 2nd, 2013 at 8pm. Light refrshments provided. All work will be available for purchase.

Submission Guidelines:

HOWL Gallery is accepting submissions for their annual "Dia de los Muertos" group show.
Works will be artists' interpretations of the Dia de los Muertos, traditional or modern. The Mexican holiday honours the souls of the dead with an annual remembrance and celebration.
SUBMISSIONS: Works may be any medium. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces, including collaborations.
HOW TO SUBMIT: Email submissions for consideration: info @ howlgallery.com
DEADLINE: Midnight, Friday, October 25th.
Submissions must include details for each piece, including title, medium, size, and selling price.
Artists will be notified by email regarding inclusion in the show.
FEES: $5 per accepted piece, payment due at drop off.
DROP OFF (accepted works): Saturday, November 26th, 6-10pm. Monday, November 28th, noon-8pm.
COMMISSION: 60% to the artist and 40% to the gallery on all sales during the exhibit.
Note: All work must be clearly labeled on back with title and artist name, and ready to hang with attached wire/hardware as appropriate. Limited pedestals available for sculptures, artists should be prepared to provide own if necessary.
The show will open Saturday, November 2nd, and continue through the end of November.
PICK UP: Unsold works to be picked December 2nd -4th during normal business hours.
