Renowned heavy metal illustrator comes to HOWL Gallery/Tattoo in Fort Myers - Art/Rock Opening Reception
Artist Seldon Hunt (Brooklyn, NY) will be featuring a new body of graphite drawings for a solo art show at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo in Fort Myers, FL. Seldon Hunt is a world recognized illustrator, photographer, and author, best known for his illustration and design work for heavy metal bands such as Monster Magnet, High on Fire, the Melvins, Neurosis, ISIS, and many more. The Australian born artist will be traveling to Fort Myers from his home in Brooklyn, NY for his opening reception at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo. The reception coincides with the monthly Art/Rock concert and art reception event hosted each month by HOWL Gallery and neighboring Brent's Music. Local bands playing that night include Black Falcon (former members of Wolf Hunter), Neither, and Undead Idols.
Opening reception and concert event starts at 8pm, September 7th.

About Seldon Hunt
Seldon Hunt has been working as an art director, designer and illustrator since 1995. In recent years much of his output has been devoted to creating a diverse and highly recognizable body of visuals that have become synonymous with contemporary heavy metal. Legendary bands he has worked with have include to name but a few, Isis, Neurosis, High on Fire, Melvins, sunno))), Pelican and Nachtmystium. His voluminous output of the beautiful to the macabre to the sublime and disturbing has graced the apocalyptic sonic releases of some of modern metals most profound masters.
His work is exhibited globally and appears regularly in music, art, culture and design publications as well as being displayed in many new books on contemporary design and illustration.
The work on display at HOWL will include a series of framed and unframed graphite illustrations on paper, made specifically for this exhibition.
