You're Welcome - Derek Hess & BASK

HOWL Gallery/Tattoo presents "You're Welcome"  a 2 man art show featuring Derek Hess and BASK.

HOWL Gallery features rock poster icon Derek Hess and graffiti artist BASK in October.

Fort Myers, FL - HOWL Gallery will host a 2 person show featuring rock poster icon Derek Hess (Cleveland, OH) and graffiti icon BASK (St. Petersburg, FL).  The two men are close friends and kindred spirits in the art world, the show presents new work by both artists.  Opening reception October 5th at 8pm.   Live music outside the gallery on a 45' trailer stage featuring local original ska/punk bands.

Derek Hess is a internationally recognized fine artist and illustrator. His work has been credited with reinventing rock concert posters in the 1990's and is in the permanent collection's of both the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame and The Louvre in Paris. This is Derek's 3rd show at HOWL.

BASK is a renowned graffiti and gallery artist. His paintings were most recently seen in the Iron Man 3 movie, where they were heavily featured as set pieces and later purchased by Robert Downey Jr. himself for his personal collection.

Outside HOWL Gallery there will be live original local punk and ska music on a 45' trailer stage provided by Bill Vernay Moving with sound and lights by Brents Music.  Bands to perform include local favorites After the Fact (punk/ska) , The High Chiefs (Funk/Rock), and Head Held High.  Concert starts at 8pm.
