HOWL Gallery presents it's 4th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit November 1st, 7-11pm.
4th annual exhibit of painted skulls, skull sculpture and original Dia de los Muertos artwork to open Saturday November 1st. Traditional Dia de los Muertos face painting and costume is encouraged. Door prizes for painted and/or costumed attendees.
The traditional mexican holiday celebrates those who have passed with artwork featuring skulls, flowers and decorative painting. The ancient holiday traces it's roots back to Aztec culture when they celebrated a goddess of the underworld, Mictecacihuatl
pariticpants in the show submitted up to 3 pieces for acceptance and are primarily local artists. for additional info and photos from previous years events visit howlgallery.com
