SWFL LIVES 6th ANNUAL LOCAL GROUP SHOW

JURIED EXHIBITION SHOWCASES THE ARTISTIC TALENT OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA.

OVER 2 DOZEN LOCAL SOUTHWEST FLORIDA ARTISTS FEATURED AT HOWL GALLERY 6TH ANNUAL SWFL LIVES GROUP SHOW.

HOWL Gallery/Tattoo yearly local artists juried exhibit opens Saturday July 5th, 2014.  The 6th annual exhibit exclusively features Southwest Florida artists with public voting during the opening reception.   Best in show will receive a cash prize based on the results of the public voting.   The popular annual exhibit is one of the galleries most anticipated events each year and draws upward of 500 to 700 people to the opening night.   

Andy Howl, curator and co-owner of the gallery says: "Each year we see more and more new artists coming out of the woodwork in Southwest Florida.  This show is a great way for us to discover new talent and get some fresh faces in the gallery."  Andy adds, "The public voting during the opening night is a big draw for the event.  Visitors get a little clipboard with a ballot and have a drink while they checkout the art. It's anonymous and let's us know which artists people really enjoy."

Artists included in the show submitted up to 3 pieces via email to HOWL Gallery. Restrictions were only limited to size, not larger than 36"x36".  Both 2 dimensional work and sculptures were accepted.
